The dinosaur encyclopedia with minigames to test your knowledge. Developed by Sidereal Ark.
Dinosaur Master! is an illustrated encyclopedia of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals, designed as a fun way to learn. It combines real scientific facts with seven different minigames that put your knowledge to the test, plus two learning tools (a size comparator and a discovery map) to explore the prehistoric world visually.
It's aimed at 8-14 year olds who are dinosaur super-fans, though it's also played by adults and younger kids.
Includes a list of dinosaurs classified by "worlds," which generally correspond to geological periods, though there are also special categories:
Each species entry shows:
Seven different minigames to test your knowledge.
Questions about the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies, with four possible answers to choose the correct one from.
The front half of a dinosaur is shown, and you swipe through several options to find its matching back half.
A circular fragment of a small part of an animal (head, foot, hand...) is revealed, and you must recognize which dinosaur it is from three possible names.
A picture of a dinosaur is shown and you spell out its name by picking letters from a list. It has three difficulty levels, which vary how much information is shown and how well-known the chosen dinosaurs are.
Four randomly chosen periods are shown (for example Triassic, Cretaceous, Cambrian...), and dinosaurs keep appearing in the center that you must drag to their correct age.
Questions about the facts in the encyclopedia, with three difficulty levels: true/false, choosing the correct answer among four options, or picking the one correct (or incorrect) statement among three.
A world map divided into geographic areas is shown along with a dinosaur. Three possible areas light up, and you must drag the dinosaur to the area where it was found.
Add up to 10 dinosaurs to a scene where you can see their relative sizes, compared to a human too.
Explore different areas of the world and discover where the dinosaurs in the encyclopedia were found.
Dinosaurs are unlocked by completing missions and challenges tied to minigame scores, or by watching reward videos. Not every dinosaur can be earned that way — the app's main source of revenue is in-app purchases, which unlock full packs of creatures and remove ads.
